Journey Into Avalon - Connect Within

This year, Nicola Brettell-Smith, founder of Soulful Wisdom Academy, and Suzanne York, the New Forest Mystic, come together to offer a gentle, pilgrimage-style day of connection with the living landscape of Avalon.

Journey into Avalon: The Apple and the Rose is a one-day immersive experience rooted in walking, listening, meditation, and embodied remembrance. Rather than learning about Avalon, you are invited to move with it through land, symbol, sensation, and inner awareness.

Throughout the day, we will pause for guided meditations, moments of stillness, and reflective journaling, allowing insights to arise organically through presence rather than effort. You will be invited into conscious relationship with the land itself, including gentle attunement to plant spirit and plant spirit medicine , listening to the subtle intelligence of the flora as teachers, allies, and mirrors for inner remembering.

Working with the ancient energies of the Apple and the Rose, this day explores themes of rebirth, renewal, heart-led remembering, and the quiet wisdom held within sacred places. The apple carries the hidden star, a symbol of sacred geometry and life returning to form. The rose holds the wisdom of the spiral, of Venus, the Tor, and the heart thus inviting soft opening, devotion, and truth through felt experience.

The day unfolds as a conscious walking pilgrimage through some of Glastonbury’s most resonant landscapes, held within a grounded ceremonial field that supports attunement, reflection, and integration connecting not only with the land beneath your feet, but with your own inner landscape.
